Cheryl & Wade, Engaged

We met up at the Bluehour (their first date) and I just happened to ask the waiter if we could grab a few shots (photos, silly) at a particular table and that particular table just happened to be the very table they had sat a year ago. Magic. Also magic: Getting into the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA) after hours. Shhhhh. Even more magic? These two just being together makes me smile and laugh because they are funny, and silly, and romantic. Many beautiful years ahead for these two….

Julie & Moises, *Already* Married
Posted by Aaron - 29/06/10 at 11:06:57 amJust because you are already married, doesn’t mean you can’t throw a ceremony packed with fun and tamales. That’s what Julie & Moises did. And even better, Julie is expecting a little girl soon so it’s just more reason to celebrate their new family. Julie looked absolutely amazing.

Mark & Liz, Wedding

But when a couple keeps kissing because they are so into each other, well, that’s a problem. Ok, it’s not a problem and it makes for great photographs. I was just hoping to create a little tension and excitement with this post about how Mark & Liz are so into each other it’s ridiculous. And they just keep kissing.

Shaun & Christina, Wedding

Any bride and groom who is willing to run from the end of the wedding reception straight to the Ferris Wheel and take pictures in Portland, at the Rose Festival, at night, well, they are just beyond awesome.
I shot this wedding for Ashley Forrette Photography, because it’s a nice thing to do.

Andrea & Taylor, Engagement
Posted by Aaron - 11/06/10 at 11:06:43 pmAs a photographer, it’s always a privilege to be invited into people’s lives and share in their relationships. Andrea and Taylor have such an an incredible bond and I hope these photos help do it justice. We met up at the Sandy River Delta to amazing sunlight and took our time walking around enjoying some Vitamin D. Andrea taught me the ASL sign for “light” which I will use frequently, if for no other reason than to think of how much fun we had at this portrait session.
