Kara & Jason, Engaged
Posted by Aaron - 29/05/10 at 11:05:28 amJason & Kara are a LOT of fun. And courageous. They braved possible Oregon rainstorms, the stench of the Portland Water Treatment Plant, and dead moles. And they still look really, really cute together.

Krista, Portraits (Harpy the Harp Included)
Posted by Aaron - 27/05/10 at 04:05:26 pmWhile in SF with Ashley, one of our shoots was with Krista, a beautiful harpist (performing and in person), who was looking for more romantic and dramatic shots to add to her portfolio. Visit Ashley’s blog to see her take. I think our two styles and ingredients make great pancakes. Also, Krista, I named your harp for you, hope you don’t mind.

Lil’ Taylor & Family
Posted by Aaron - 25/05/10 at 09:05:33 amMakes me almost want to have another one. Almost.
I shot this family with my cameras and with Ashley Forrette, who also made amazing pictures.

Star & David, Wedding
Posted by Aaron - 20/05/10 at 12:05:17 amI could say so much about Star & David and how special their 8-person ceremony was overlooking the Columbia Gorge out at Rowena Crest. But I’ll let the pictures speak.

Heather & Robert, Engaged
Posted by Aaron - 18/05/10 at 05:05:11 pmI love it when couples show up for their engagement session a little nervous and leave telling me how fun it was. I love even more when they have so much fun, that they are willing to pose next to an “I Farted” sticker. Don’t worry, Robert, I’m not gonna post it.
Heather & Robert were SO much fun, it was kinda ridiculous. Thanks to the magical camera-work of Ashley Forrette who pancaked it up with me.
I think they’re the greatest and can’t wait for their wedding!

April & Jake, Engaged
Posted by Aaron - 11/05/10 at 11:05:37 pmThese two are really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really beautifully nice people.
I met them shooting with the really (x24) talented and gracious Ashley Forrette.

The Yinger Family
Posted by Aaron - 11/05/10 at 10:05:21 pmThe Yinger family is awesome. Mostly because I got to boss them around. But that’s not the only reason. Four generations all together is awesome X 4. But bossing is fun.
Thanks to wide-open Vancouver sunlight and the Yingers for being happy people!

Brooke & Matt, Engaged
Posted by Aaron - 10/05/10 at 07:05:17 pmThis is a fair warning. If you show up wearing Patagonia, I may be extra touchy-feely with you. I apologize in advance. It’s just that the clothes are well-made, warm, and remind me of being comfortable. Matt had to find out the hard way, asking him to take it off and put it on, over and over and over. Sorry, Matt. Anyways, Ashley and I had a really, really great time making photographs with these two.
Thanks to Ashley Forrette for being completely awesome to shoot with. Hooray for Pancakes.

Jasmine, Senior Portraits
Posted by Aaron - 07/05/10 at 04:05:56 pmSometimes life gives us lessons. Many of these lessons are over microphones at high school graduations, all about succeeding, that the future is yours, and that you can change the world. Insert eye roll here.
That’s just what Jasmine is doing. Next step, off to Gonzaga. She will succeed, the future will be hers and she will probably change the world. And all the eye-rollers will weep and then thank her for being awesome.
But before she did that, I had to take pictures. We had a really fun portrait session down near the Saturday market.
Thanks Jasmine!
