Bees & Beans, Portraits
Posted by Aaron - 31/03/10 at 03:03:40 pmNo, I am not a food photographer. Yes, I am a people photographer. Yes, I enjoy homemade chocolate bars. Okay, I’ll do it.
This has been a special insight into my mind today. You are welcome. I’m super excited for my friend Faith Dionne to begin her chocolate business (Bees & Beans) and launch her website. Any and all local Portland people need to go taste her amazing chocolate treats.

Robert & Crystalyn, Engaged
Posted by Aaron - 30/03/10 at 09:03:35 amThe first time I met Robert & Crystalyn, I could tell they have something incredibly special between them. I am not the most sentimental wedding photographer in the world, but if someone made a movie or documentary about them, I would watch it. A lot. And cry. And laugh. Because they are that awesome.
A big thanks to the other Pancake, Ashley Forrette, for coming along with us down by the waterfront and having a good time.
I’m thrilled and excited to do their wedding in June. Unless of course I’m still at home watching their movie…

More Black & White Film
Posted by Aaron - 28/03/10 at 10:03:45 pmI know, I know. This is my business photography blog. Why am I posting personal film photos?
Answer: Because I like them and photos make me excited and I spend a lot of time making them and so you can see what inspires me and what I’m working on. So there.
New recent engagement sessions and weddings are coming soon anyways.

ManTrip 2010, or the Rest Stop Before Rush Hour
Posted by Aaron - 13/03/10 at 12:03:11 amYou know those times where you feel like you need to just get on the road, put the top down, and gas it (under the speed limit of course, officer)? It’s not often you get the actual chance. But being a wedding photographer, my job in Oregon is going to be crazy-busy-awesome getting into spring and summer and it’s the perfect time to hit the road for a week.
The point? Take pictures, see the Southwest and take some routes I haven’t before. Practice some landscape photography. Explore.

A Temporary Vortex in Time for Aaron Courter Photography
Posted by Aaron - 08/03/10 at 01:03:43 amSo all of you know, I am currently on the road, psyching myself up for the upcoming (and insanely busy) wedding season by attempting ManTrip 2010. ManTrip 2010 is basically a lot of driving in various states and taking pictures of things that are interesting. I will share more details when I return.
Do not fear. I shall return a newer Man than the old one, yet better, shinier, and with more laundry.
