Becky & Trevor, Wedding
Posted by Aaron - 30/08/09 at 10:08:00 pmBecky & Trevor were married at the Old Laurelhurst Church in Portland, a beautiful unique church for a beautiful unique couple. Any new bride and groom willing to try jumping shots and kung-fu in their wedding portraits is found under the “Awesome” Section in my book. I also loved that they requested a photobooth where the wedding guests could write messages on a chalkboard. I included some of my favorites below.
Congrats Becky & Trevor and all the best to you!
Shot with Ashley Forrette, who is also found under the “Awesome” Section in my book.
Adrienne
Posted by Aaron - 28/08/09 at 08:08:00 pmAdrienne is awesome. Years ago we called U of P looking for a babysitter. She answered the phone, the rest is history. We have been so grateful to call her our friend. You rock Adrienne J!

Nicole & Justin, Wedding
Posted by Aaron - 13/08/09 at 01:08:00 amNicole & Justin’s wedding was awesome for these reasons:
1. They did it themselves. The dress was handmade, the food cooked, the ceremony performed, etc, all by people from the family.
2. The setting was important. Justin, the groom, and his now-Father-in-Law, helped with the construction of Red Ridge Farms in Dayton, a beautiful farmland full of flowers, bees, and fresh green stuff.
3. Both wedding parties were hilarious.
4. It was small and meaningful, and they did a see-you-for-the-first-time private moment which was ridiculously awesome.
5. I got to shoot another wedding with Ashley Forrette.
Nicole and Justin, you are such an amazing and beautiful couple, congratulations!
The Brown Family
Posted by Aaron - 03/08/09 at 09:08:00 pmI met Melissa, Rob, Chandler, and little Lincoln out at Washington Park on a Sunday. Wasn’t as crowded as I expected (until the Rose Garden) but we had a fun time getting to know each other and snapping some pics. The kids were so well behaved and even smiled sometimes for the camera (thanks kids, hope the DQ treats were worth waiting for!!!). Thanks Browns, you are the best.

Michelle & Willem, a Dutch American Wedding
Posted by Aaron - 01/08/09 at 12:08:00 amWedding from last weekend, shooting with the stupendously and fantastically gifted Ashley Forrette. Clogs and dogs and Rocky Buttes and dancing and food and celebration and a creative wedding. The little windmills are an ode to meeting on business while working for an energy company. Congrats to Willem and Michelle!
